Combined Sources Sought Notice of Intent to Sole Source for Microwave Power Meter

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a microwave power meter. The required microwave power meter should meet or exceed the following draft minimum specifications: measure signals produced by the vector network analyzer owned by NIST from 10 MHz to 40 GHz, be software compatible with an Anritsu VectorStar VNA, and have a power sensor that can perform measurements over power levels from -70 dBm to 20 dBm. The power meter should be single input and compatible with the RF power sensor and the Anritsu VectorStar VNA. • The microwave power meter will be used to calibrate power levels to perform piezoelectric coefficient measurements of acoustic devices. • The required power sensor should have a frequency range of 10 MHz to 40 GHz with a 2.92 mm connector and a dynamic range of -70 dBm to +20 dBm. • The power meter should be compatible with the MA24340A power sensor and the Anritsu VectorStar VNA.
