National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) Midwestern Regional Weather Records Center (MRWRC)

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking a contractor to provide services for the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) Midwestern Regional Weather Records Center (MRWRC). The contractor will be responsible for providing products and services to address regional weather records needs and issues in the context of NCEI’s broader environmental information responsibilities. The scope of work includes regional engagement and user needs identification, needs prioritization and product and tool provision, transitioning appropriate tools and products to sustained NCEI operational states, and services to support the provision of products and services. The contract will be a single-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a period of performance of five years. Some key points of this opportunity include: • The contractor must be physically located within the region and serve all states, territories, and U.S.-affiliated islands in the region. • The contractor will provide products and services to address regional weather records needs and issues. • The contract includes a firm-fixed-price (FFP) type task order. • The period of performance will be from September 17, 2026, through September 16, 2031.
