Description
The Northville Public Schools is seeking bids for the STEAM Addition & Remodeling REBID Rough Carpentry project at Moraine Elementary School. The project involves rough carpentry work, and bidders must provide familial disclosure and comply with the equal opportunity laws of the State of Michigan. The bid proposal must include a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Northville Public Schools, Board of Education, or the Northville Public Schools, Superintendent. Some key requirements for bidders include:
• Providing a certified cashier's check or a U.S. treasury listed security bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount for bids over the State threshold of $31,321
• Including a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of their bid for successful bidders whose proposal is $50,000 or more
• Complying with the equal opportunity laws of the State of Michigan
• Submitting bids electronically via PreCon Suite
The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part, and to award contracts in any manner deemed to be in the best interests of the owner.
