Y1PZ--Headstone Setting/Raise & Realign at Abraham Lincoln NC

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide headstone setting, raising, and realignment services at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. The contractor will be responsible for installing initial and replacement upright headstones and flat markers, raising and realigning existing headstones, and cleaning headstones. The contractor must ensure that all work is done in a manner that presents a clean, neat, and professional appearance throughout the cemetery. The contractor will be required to work during normal cemetery hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, and may be required to work on weekends or holidays with prior approval from the Contracting Officer's Representative. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: • Setting new initial upright headstones and flat markers • Raising and realigning existing upright headstones • Cleaning upright headstones • Coordinating with the Contracting Officer's Representative to ensure that all work is done in accordance with the contract specifications and requirements • Ensuring that all work is done in a safe and efficient manner, with minimal disruption to cemetery operations The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to complete the work, and will be responsible for ensuring that all work is done in accordance with the contract specifications and requirements.
