Description
The County of Siskiyou is seeking a qualified contractor to perform comprehensive property abatement at two adjacent parcels in Weed, CA. The work includes removal and proper disposal of vehicles, hazardous waste, manufactured homes, and unpermitted structures, together with all necessary permits, safety protocols, and documentation. The contractor must also conduct a certified asbestos survey and, if required, oversee asbestos abatement, providing full chain‑of‑custody records.
• Scope covers vehicle crushing, hazardous/medical waste handling, manufactured‑home demolition, and demolition of illegal structures.
• Mandatory site walk‑through on 12/17/2025; asbestos survey and abatement now required per Addendum #1.
• Proposals due by 4 PM on 01/16/2026; evaluation begins 01/19/2026 with award expected early February 2026.
