Description
The City of Philadelphia Procurement Department is seeking bids for the supply of woven wool blankets. The blankets must be 66" x 90" in size, made of 80% wool and 20% nylon, and have whipped-stitched ends. The blankets must also be machine washable and flame-resistant. The City requires 3,000 blankets, and the delivery must be within 30 days of receiving the purchase order. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• The blankets must meet specific quality standards, including not unraveling after laundering and having a dimensional change of not more than +/- 5%.
• The blankets must have a washing label indicating size and be permanently attached and labeled for fiber content.
• The City encourages vendors to submit their bids electronically through the PHLContracts platform.
• Vendors must submit a signed Consent and Authorization Agreement prior to bid closing.
• The City reserves the right to award the bid as a whole or by line item, whichever is in the best interest of the City.
