Description
The USGS Wetland and Aquatic Research Center in Gainesville, FL, requires refurbishment of a 10,000-gallon elevated water tank. The scope of work includes repainting the exterior and interior, ladder repair, and debris disposal. The project will take place in Alachua County, Florida. The period of performance is 30 days after the notice to proceed is issued.
• Repainting Exterior: Pressure washing, surface prep, primer, and polyurethane finish.
• Repainting Interior: Tank draining, abrasive blasting, epoxy prime/finish coats, weld/ladders stripe coat, debris disposal.
• Ladder Repair: Remove old ladder, install new 10-ft steel ladder with welded standoff brackets, paint per interior spec.
