SOURCES SOUGHT: IAW Buy Indian Act of 1910: Inpatient Department Physician Services at Hopi Health Care Center

The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking sources for non-personal professional Inpatient Physician Services at the Hopi Health Care Center in Polacca, Arizona. The contract will be for a 12-month base period and four one-year option periods. The contractor will provide inpatient physician services on an as-needed basis, with a minimum of one shift per day. The contractor must have experience in inpatient care and be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. The contractor will be required to provide medical and related professionals with experience in assessing the conditions of patients, providing medical care, and advising on health care needs. Key responsibilities include: • Providing inpatient physician services on an as-needed basis • Admitting and managing patients to the inpatient department • Providing emergency treatment and definitive management for medical cases • Collecting, organizing, and communicating data relevant to primary health assessments • Working closely with Allied Health Professionals to provide broad health program services
