Description
The Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking to establish a pre-qualified list of local vendors to provide items that need to be purchased quickly to replace lost or damaged patient property, as well as supplies needed for recreational therapy. The contract will allow for the purchase of groceries for patient cooking groups when long-term menu planning is not practical. The resulting contract will be used by the DPH Hospitals, including Tewksbury, Shattuck, Western Mass, and Pappas.
• The contract will be for a period of up to 5 years with the option to renew for an additional 5 years.
• The estimated value of the procurement is $120,000.
• Vendors must agree to invoice the appropriate hospital directly for all purchases made during the agreed-upon billing period.
• Payment through Electronic Funds Transfer is required for any contract awarded through this solicitation.
• The contract will be monitored based on performance areas such as timely delivery, responsiveness to departmental inquiries, quality of deliverables, and attendance at scheduled meetings.
