Description
The Town of Needham is seeking bids for on-call tree and crane services. The contract will commence on January 1, 2026, and end on December 31, 2026, with the option to renew for up to two additional years. Bidders must provide a bid deposit of 5% of the total bid price and must be registered with the Division of Apprenticeship Training. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Key aspects of the job include:
* Providing on-call tree and crane services to the Town of Needham
* Performing work in accordance with applicable industry standards, codes, and regulations
* Maintaining the work site in a safe and orderly fashion
* Coordinating with private and public utilities as necessary
* Providing insurance certificates and bonds as required
* Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including prevailing wage laws
* Providing a payment bond for 50% of the total contract price
* Ensuring that all employees are paid in accordance with the provisions of Sections 26 to 27H of Chapter 149 of the General Laws
