Description
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is seeking bids to purchase five 21 to 23 ft. Fiberglass Boats, five 250hp Outboard Motors, and five Boat Trailers for the Law Enforcement Division. The boats must conform to 33CFR, Code of Federal Regulations (Part #183), and be built to ABYC Standards. The outboard motors must be compatible with the fiberglass boats and have a horsepower of 250 HP. The boat trailers must be suitable to fit and transport the boats and outboard motors.
The scope of work includes the delivery of five boat, motor, and trailer packages, with optional accessory items such as cup holders, T-Top, dome lights, flood lights, spotlight, controller, siren, speaker, signal, electronics package, wireless engine cutoff switch system, VHF radio, and large helm station pad.
The contract shall commence upon the issuance of a contract by TPWD and automatically expires upon the delivery date agreed upon and final acceptance by TPWD.
Some key requirements include:
• The boat must have a length of approximately twenty-one to twenty-three feet and a beam of approximately ninety-six to ninety-nine inches.
• The outboard motor must have a horsepower of 250 HP and be compatible with the fiberglass boat.
• The boat trailer must be suitable to fit and transport the boat and outboard motor.
• The contractor must provide a detailed price list for additional related accessories and attachments.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including laws governing labor, equal opportunity, safety, and environmental protection.
