The City of Moline is soliciting electronic bids from qualified contractors for the demolition and utility disconnection of residential structures under the Strong Communities Program 2 (SCP2). This project is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to improve public health and safety, eliminate blight, and support neighborhood revitalization. The project includes demolishing and disposing of the residence, shed, fencing, and decks, as well as disconnecting and repairing sewer and water lines. Contractors must have an active System for Award Management (SAM) registration and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) upon bid submission. • The project requires compliance with all applicable Moline Codes and Ordinances. • The contractor is responsible for knowledge of and adherence to the above codes and ordinances. • The contractor must apply for, pay for, obtain, and forward copies of required permits to the agency. • The contractor must keep the site adequately wet during demolition to keep dust down. • The contractor is responsible for any icing on sidewalk and street adjacent to the site. • The contractor must contain water and salt as needed.
