Description
The City of Boulder City, Nevada is issuing a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to select a single qualified architectural/engineering consulting firm to provide comprehensive services for a suite of airport development projects, many of which are contingent on Federal Airport Improvement Program (AIP) funding. The scope covers everything from preliminary planning, design, and grant administration through construction‑phase inspection and close‑out, including runway and taxiway rehabilitation, apron extensions, lighting upgrades, environmental studies, safety improvements, and related equipment procurement. The selected firm will act as the City’s primary airport consultant, coordinating with the FAA, preparing grant applications, conducting surveys, and providing on‑site construction management.
• Services span four phases: Preliminary, Design, Bidding/Negotiation, and Construction support.
• Projects include runway 09/27 reconstruction, taxiway Delta redesign, apron extensions, lighting/ signage upgrades, pollution control facilities, ARFF station, perimeter fencing, and various safety and environmental studies.
• Firm must be licensed in Nevada, able to handle federal grant administration, and possess experience with FAA regulations and airport‑specific engineering.
• Submission is a single PDF (≤50 pages) via Nevada Government eMarketplace by 2:00 PM PT, 13 Oct 2026; questions due by 12:00 PM PT, 22 Sep 2026.
• Evaluation criteria emphasize team qualifications, relevant airport engineering experience, capability to perform the full project suite, and familiarity with FAA processes.
