UC-12+ Procurement

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) C type contract on a Sole-Source basis to Textron Aviation in Wichita, KS for the production of one UC-12W+ Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Type-Certified, Commercial Cargo/Passenger Transport aircraft variant of the Beechcraft King Air 350. The contract will also include non-recurring engineering (NRE), engineering change proposals, and initial spares to sustain the UC-12W+ aircraft required by NAVAIR Tactical Airlift Program Office (PMA-207). • The contract is for a sole source basis to Textron under authority permitting other than full and open competition. • The Government does not intend to fund the development or qualification of other sources for fulfilling this requirement. • Any capability statements received by the close of this synopsis may be considered by the Government. • Questions concerning subcontracting opportunities should be directed to Textron.
