Soquel/Front & Locust Street Garage Elevator Repairs

The City of Santa Cruz is seeking bids for the modernization and improvement of electrical services, including electrical, fire, and life safety equipment, for two existing hydraulic passenger elevators at the Soquel/Front Garage and Locust Garage. The successful bidder will be responsible for the engagement, supervision, and facilitation of the electrical and fire/life safety work, as well as related costs for the modernization of the elevators. The scope of work includes all design criteria and specifications, labor costs, cab interior upgrades, overtime labor, electrical work, and fire life safety controls, devices, and software upgrades. • The project involves the modernization of two existing hydraulic passenger elevators. • The successful bidder will be responsible for the engagement, supervision, and facilitation of the electrical and fire/life safety work. • The scope of work includes all design criteria and specifications, labor costs, cab interior upgrades, overtime labor, electrical work, and fire life safety controls, devices, and software upgrades. • The project is expected to be completed within a year. • The City of Santa Cruz reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or immaterial irregularities in the bidding process.
