Drug Evidence Destruction Services (Non-Retrievable Disposal Methods)

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking information on vendors capable of providing safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible destruction of narcotics evidence. The FBI is looking for innovative and scalable solutions that meet the requirement for "non-retrievable" destruction in accordance with 21 CFR 1317.05. Vendors may propose a range of disposal methods, including incineration, pyrolysis, chemical digestion, encapsulation, alkaline hydrolysis, or other emerging technologies. The key requirements for the destruction services include: • Reducing reliance on fixed incineration infrastructure • Minimizing transportation distances and associated risks • Reducing personnel requirements for escorted and witnessed destruction • Providing scalable capabilities for high-volume seizures • Maintaining safety for personnel, the public, and the environment The FBI is also seeking feedback on a draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) to inform potential future acquisition strategies.
