Description
The City of Salisbury is seeking a contractor to provide snow removal services for various City properties, including sidewalks, parking lots, and driveways. The contractor will be responsible for snow plowing, shoveling, and applying de-icing materials to ensure safe pedestrian and vehicle passage. The contract will be for the duration of the winter season, approximately November 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026, with the option to renew for two one-year terms. The City reserves the right to award the contract to multiple vendors if it is in the best interest of the City.
Key responsibilities include:
• Snow removal from sidewalks, parking lots, and driveways
• Application of de-icing materials to prevent ice buildup
• Monitoring of temperature changes and re-application of de-icing materials as necessary
• Snow hauling from the property if snow accumulation becomes excessive
• Providing daily status reports to the City's Field Operations manager during snow events
