CTG 1 High Velocity Turbine Lube Oil Flush

The Board of Water and Light (BWL) is seeking proposals for a high velocity oil flush on its #1 GE LM6000PF gas turbine’s turbine lube oil system. The scope of work includes performing a high velocity oil flush, submitting a written flush procedure, setting up necessary equipment, executing the flush, and providing a final report with oil analysis. The contractor must also meet certain specifications, including achieving a Reynolds Number >4000 and an ISO 16/14/11 cleanliness level. • The turbine was taken offline after a bearing failure and metal materials were detected in the lube oil system. • The system includes all tanks, coolers, and associated piping. • The tentative turbine reinstallation date is 07/03/2026, subject to change. • Proposals must include means and methods, division of responsibilities, anticipated lead time, pricing, schedule, and contractor’s safety scores.
