Description
The Palm Beach County Department of Airports is soliciting sealed bids for the expansion of the existing airfield electrical vault at President Donald J. Trump International Airport. The project adds approximately 2,500 sq ft to the vault, includes interior renovations, roof replacement, HVAC and fire‑protection upgrades, relocation of electrical regulators, ALCMS control system, fiber‑optic and power cabling, and an optional standby emergency generator. Bids must be submitted on the county‑provided forms with a 5 % bid security. All work must comply with federal, state and local regulations, including Davis‑Bacon, Buy‑America, and DBE requirements. The bid documents are available for download after signing a non‑disclosure agreement; a pre‑bid conference is scheduled for September 23, 2026.
