Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to demolish and install a boiler‑loop system at Kenai Central High School, including all associated mechanical piping, pumps, valves, insulation, and the necessary electrical work. The work must be completed outside regular school hours and be substantially finished by August 1, 2027, with performance and payment bonds required for contracts over $100,000.
• Provide complete labor, materials, and services for demolition, installation, flushing, testing, adjusting, and balancing of the boiler loop (including CP‑10 pump and optional CP‑10A redundant pump).
• Replace gate valves with ball valves, relocate a Siemens conduit, and install new disconnects; submit a system flushing plan for approval.
• Comply with Alaska Title 36 wage schedule, all applicable building and mechanical codes, and furnish required insurance, tax compliance certification, and bid bond (5 % if bid > $100k).
