LRWKC Telemetry RFI

The US Air Force is conducting market research to identify potential sources for Telemetry Systems capable of meeting the Government's Telemetry Requirements. The systems will be used to provide accurate data for airborne test platforms, test items, and targets utilizing the Eglin Test and Training Complex. The Government is interested in phased array telemetry systems that can track a 5-watt, 20Mb/s data rate, S-Band transmitter at a range of up to 200nmi over the water test range with less than 10-5 Bit Error Rate. • The Telemetry Systems will be used for airborne, waterborne, and land test missions. • The systems must comply with IRIG Standard 218-20, Telemetry Over Internet Protocol, and Data Quality Metric and Data Quality Encapsulation as defined in IRIG Standard 106-25R1 Appendix 2-G. • The systems will be maintained and operated on a Department of Defense (DoD) network and must comply with all rules and regulations pertaining to Information Systems (IS) that process DoD data. • The Government is interested in the reliability and sustainment costs of the Telemetry Systems.
