Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northern Arizona Healthcare System (NAVAHCS) is seeking a contractor to replace three 50-year-old steam boilers with new ones. The project includes general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, demolition, and removal of existing structures. The contractor must comply with all applicable local and VA building codes. The project requires the installation of temporary boilers to maintain steam service to the campus during construction.
* The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, certification, supervision, and materials necessary to perform the work.
* The contractor shall review and comply with all contract documents and shall not rely on any single document to the exclusion of another.
* The order of precedence is not intended to relieve the contractor from complying with all applicable contract requirements.
* The contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer of any discrepancies for resolution.
* The contractor shall consider the orientation of the office trailer and configuration/placement of the workstations to maximize visibility of the temporary boilers from as many workstations as practical.
