The State of Arizona Department of Transportation seeks a qualified contractor to convert high‑water‑use landscaping on its central campus to a low‑water‑use design and upgrade the associated irrigation system. The work includes removal and salvage of existing trees, turf, and vegetation; demolition of specified hardscape; grading and import of clean fill; installation of a new centralized irrigation control system with back‑flow prevention, soil‑moisture sensors, and rain buckets; new planting of trees, shrubs, boulders, and decomposed‑granite surfacing; and required utility coordination and protective fencing. The contract is a fixed‑price, six‑month agreement (extendable to nine months) with retainage, bonding, and insurance requirements.
