STAR Center Bldg. 100 Switchgear Trip Unit Replacement and Circuit Breaker Reconditioning

The Pinellas County STAR Center is seeking a contractor to perform the upgrading of BBC Metalclad LV (480 Volt) Switchgear Trip units and reconditioning of circuit breakers at two electrical switchgear rooms. The project involves replacing trip units, reconditioning low voltage metal clad circuit breakers, and providing testing reports. The work must be done in accordance with manufacturer specifications and will take place over a 3-year period. Key requirements include: • Replacing trip units or reconditioning circuit breakers and upgrading trip units • Providing testing reports for trip controllers and reconditioned breakers • Compliance with Pinellas County's insurance requirements and procurement policies • Meeting the mandatory requirements outlined in the attachments • Providing a minimum of three reference letters from companies with similar project experience
