Description
The Alaska DOT&PF, in partnership with the FAA, is releasing a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Bethel Airport West Apron Improvements project. The scope includes reconstruction and rehabilitation of the west apron, main apron, snow‑removal equipment building, aircraft rescue and firefighting ramp, taxiways E and G, and construction of a new perimeter service road with upgraded fencing and gates. The public is invited to review the draft EA, attend an open‑house meeting on October 6, 2026, and submit written comments by October 26, 2026. This notice is informational and seeks stakeholder feedback rather than soliciting bids.
