Description
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Europe Africa Central (NAVFAC EAC) - Public Works Department (PWD) is seeking a contractor to provide chemical treatment and maintenance services for swimming pools and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) closed loop systems. The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, materials, and expertise required to maintain proper water standards for one indoor swimming pool and one Jacuzzi at the U.S. Naval Support Activity (NSA) Capodichino, Naples, and multiple HVAC closed loop systems across twenty buildings at NSA Capodichino and Naval Telecommunication Stations (NCTS) SATCOM, Lago Patria. The contractor will also provide training to U.S. Government personnel on proper chemical handling, water-testing procedures, and interpretation of test results.
• The contract will have a 12-month base period, four 12-month option periods, and a 6-month option to extend services.
• The contractor will provide all chemical supplies, testing services, equipment maintenance, and associated technical support required to maintain proper water standards.
• The contractor will perform quarterly chemical treatment of NSA Capodichino pool and Jacuzzi water systems and at least twice for Carney Park swimming pools during the operational season.
• The contractor will conduct water quality testing and analysis to ensure compliance with standards and adjust chemical levels as necessary.
