Description
The City of Columbus, Division of Water is seeking a vendor to provide Analytical Laboratory Services to support microplastics research. The vendor will be responsible for analyzing samples at one of their laboratories, with an indefinite quantity of samples potentially required based on initial test results. The City will be responsible for sample collection and return shipping. The bid will be awarded based on sample pricing and analyte list.
• The scope includes plastic particle analysis in various types of water samples (drinking, groundwater, source, wastewater, field blank, and trip blank).
• Vendors must provide a list of detectable microplastic analytes.
• The contract is for the 2025/2026 period, with pricing submitted to be available to the City until 2/28/2027.
• Bidders must enter $1.00 for each line item to facilitate the creation of blanket purchase orders, not exceeding a combined total of $50,000.
