Title 22 Filters 1, 5, and 10 Rehabilitation and Replacement Project

The West Basin Municipal Water District is seeking bids for the Title 22 Filters 1, 5, and 10 Rehabilitation and Replacement Project. The project involves the rehabilitation and replacement of filters at the Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility. The scope of work includes the removal of existing underdrain panels, laterals, and support channels, as well as the installation of new underdrain laterals, filter media, and concrete end plugs. • The project requires the removal of existing filter media and the installation of new filter media. • The project involves the modification of existing air metering tubes for flexible connection to new underdrain laterals. • The project requires the repair of the concrete surface of the interior and exterior of the backwash troughs. • The project involves the installation of a gasket seal around the perimeter of the gullet. The project is part of the District's current Capital Improvement Program and has been approved by the Board of Directors. The District is seeking a contractor to perform the work, and the bid opening is scheduled for May 7, 2026.
