Description
The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to completely demolish a dangerous residential structure located at 1616 West Crawford Street and perform associated site work, including utility disconnection, grading, and final cleanup. The scope covers removal of the main building, accessory structures, foundations, and all debris, as well as required permits, inspections, and a two‑year warranty on the work. Bids are due May 1 2026 and the contractor must complete the work within 90 calendar days of receiving the Notice to Proceed.
• Full demolition of the primary residence and all accessory structures (garage, shed, footings, etc.)
• Utility termination verification, sewer caps, back‑filling, grading, and installation of drainage grates
• Site safety measures, debris hauling to city landfill (max 8 loads/day), final cleanup, and a 2‑year warranty
• Mandatory 5 % bid security, performance and payment bonds equal to the contract price, and compliance with City insurance and safety requirements
