Playground Equipment On-call Services

The City of Thornton is seeking proposals from manufacturers' local representatives to provide and install new playground equipment and site furnishings, and other related site and landscape/irrigation construction, on an indefinite quantity basis. The award will be for on an on-call, as-needed basis under an open-ended General Service Agreement (GSA). The city requires one or more firms to perform playground projects, which include both new park areas and replacement of outdated equipment within existing park areas. Key responsibilities include providing and installing playground equipment, site furnishings, and other related construction services. • The proposal should include a cover letter, executed Exhibit 1, proposed Exhibit B, proposed Exhibit C, and other required documents. • The proposing firm must have successfully completed eight projects with a similar degree of complexity and cost within the past ten years. • The evaluation criteria include responsiveness to the needs of the city, responsibility and trustworthiness of the proposing firm, past performance, experience, and proposed fee structure.
