Description
The Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center is seeking an Audiologist to perform a full range of standardized audiology evaluations using various complex instruments following established policies and procedures characteristic of the Audiology profession. The contractor will be required to provide services including assessment and identification, management and treatment, prevention and education, and quality assurance. The contract will be for a period of two years with no option periods, and the total cost of work shall not exceed $50,000.00.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Performing audiology evaluations and interpreting test results
• Counseling patients about hearing health and treatment options
• Assessing and managing hearing loss and related disorders
• Providing hearing aids and audiologic rehabilitation
• Collaborating with educators and other healthcare professionals to develop communication management plans
• Participating in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
