Clinton Township - Phase 1 Water Booster Station Improvements

The Charter Township of Clinton is seeking a contractor to perform Phase 1 Water Booster Station Improvements. The project includes the installation of a 600 kW Cummins natural gas generator, a reinforced concrete pad, procurement and installation of a docking station for a portable generator, installation of required conduits for future electrical connections, and removal and disposal of an existing 2,000 gallon diesel underground storage tank. The project also includes incidental construction such as pavement removal and replacement, franchise utility coordination, earthwork, subgrade preparation, and restoration. • The contractor must have an approved prequalification for pump station rehabilitation on file with the Township prior to the bid opening. • The contractor must provide a certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond with each bid. • The contractor must furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bond, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond. • The project shall commence immediately following a notice to proceed and shall be substantially completed within 60 days. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, obtain all necessary permits, and comply with the Owner's safety program.
