SLED Best Bag Kit

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is seeking bids for the provision of 15,000 BEST Kits per year for a period of 3 years. The BEST Kits consist of evidence envelopes, SLED evidence bags, certification of custody forms, drug analysis forms, and sticker labels. The kits are used by law enforcement agencies for the preservation and submission of evidentiary items. The successful bidder will be required to provide a prototype kit and ship the kits within 4 weeks of receipt of a written order. • The kits must meet specific requirements, including the use of tamper-indicative plastic bags and sequentially numbered labels. • The contractor must be able to provide a prototype kit for review. • The contract is for a period of 3 years, with 15,000 kits to be provided each year. • The successful bidder will be selected based on their ability to meet the specifications and requirements outlined in the bid solicitation.
