Budget estimate

$4,000,000 – $12,000,000

Based on typical costs for a 69 kV overhead line reroute of this length (approximately several miles) and the extensive civil work (foundations, access roads, pole structures, and removal of existing facilities), total contract values for similar projects in Texas range from $4 million to $12 million. Factors influencing the final amount include length of line, terrain, material prices (steel, concrete, conductors), labor rates, and any required environmental mitigation (seeding, mulching). The bid will likely be competitive, with the low end reflecting minimal material price escalation and the high end reflecting longer line length, complex right‑of‑way conditions, and higher labor costs.
