Description

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions is procuring a one‑year, sole‑source contract to operate the “Be Pro Be Proud” (BPBP) Mobile Workshop across the state. SPEVCO Inc. will be the exclusive provider, responsible for delivering, setting up, staffing, maintaining, and operating a 53‑foot double‑expandable trailer and its tow vehicle for approximately 40 event weeks, traveling roughly 12,000 miles. The contractor must provide qualified exhibit operators, manage logistics, ensure insurance coverage, and report on‑site activities. The total contract value is $622,000, paid in four installments. • Operate and maintain a 53‑ft double‑expandable mobile workshop and tow vehicle for statewide outreach events. • Provide two qualified exhibit operators/tour ambassadors for the full contract term. • Deliver services for ~40 event weeks, covering travel, fuel, tolls, permits, insurance, and routine maintenance. • Coordinate with NMDWS on scheduling, provide daily reporting, photographs, and post‑event cleanup. • Meet insurance requirements (≥ $2 M commercial automobile liability) and hold the exclusive BPBP MOU.

Budget estimate

$600,000 – $650,000

The contract’s total value is $622,000, spread over four payments. Assuming the contractor’s direct costs (personnel, travel, fuel, insurance) consume roughly 70‑80 % of the budget, the net earnings for the contractor would likely fall between $120,000 and $190,000. However, since the client would be the prime contractor receiving the full $622,000, the “earnings” for the client are essentially the contract amount itself. Therefore, a reasonable estimate for the client’s revenue from this award ranges from $600,000 (conservative) to $650,000 (allowing for minor adjustments or additional reimbursables).
