Description
The City of Mobile is seeking qualified contractors to pre‑qualify for the design‑build of a new community center at Dauphin Island. The pre‑qualification package requires firms to demonstrate experience on at least three comparable projects exceeding $10 million in original contract value within the past five years, provide bonding and insurance capability, and submit concise documentation (≤20 pages). Successful firms will be invited to receive full bid documents, attend a mandatory pre‑bid conference, and submit formal bids by mid‑December. This process screens for large‑scale construction expertise, safety performance, and financial capacity.
• Must hold an Alabama General Contractor license and be able to provide 100 % performance and payment bonds for $10 M+ projects.
