Description
This solicitation invites qualified general contractors to apply for inclusion on the Department of Design and Construction’s Pre‑Qualified List (PQL) for small‑project construction work throughout New York City. The PQL will be used to award individual contracts for capital projects valued between $500 k and $3 M. Applicants must demonstrate recent project experience, financial capacity, safety performance, and compliance with integrity requirements, and must satisfy M/WBE certification or subcontracting commitments. Successful firms will be eligible for future bid invitations on a wide range of interior renovations, façade work, roof replacements, and building‑system upgrades.
• Scope: General construction on NYC capital projects sized $500 k–<$3 M (interior, exterior, roof, MEP upgrades).
• Qualification: Minimum three qualifying projects in the past five years, audited financials for three years, safety & employment questionnaires, and integrity disclosures.
• M/WBE Requirement: Certified M/WBE, joint‑venture with a certified partner, or commitment to subcontract ≥50 % to a certified NYC M/WBE.
