Description
The New York City Department of Design and Construction is soliciting qualified general contractors for inclusion on a Pre‑Qualified List (PQL) for medium‑size public‑sector construction projects valued between $3 M and $10 M. Applicants must demonstrate recent experience on comparable projects, financial capacity, safety performance, and compliance with M/WBE requirements. Submissions consist of a hard‑copy packet of six required exhibits and are due by the listed PIN deadline. Successful firms will be eligible to bid on future DDC medium‑project solicitations throughout the city.
• Minimum of three $3‑10 M construction projects completed in the past five years (as prime or subcontractor).
• Provide audited financial statements for the last three fiscal years and safety/OSHA data for the last three years.
• Must submit four sealed hard‑copy copies to the DDC office; electronic submissions are not accepted.
• M/WBE participation required either through certification, joint‑venture partnership, or a commitment to subcontract ≥ 50 % of work to NYC‑certified M/WBE firms.
