Description
The Chaffey Joint Union High School District is seeking a qualified contractor to design, supply, and install a district‑wide structured‑cabling system (both fiber‑optic backbone and Category 6A copper drops) that meets E‑Rate Category 2 requirements. The work includes material procurement, rack installation, fiber termination, testing, labeling, and as‑built documentation across multiple high‑school campuses, with work restricted to after‑school hours.
• Install non‑armored indoor/outdoor plenum‑rated fiber and Cat 6A copper cabling (≈ 2,900 data drops).
• Provide racks, vertical cable managers, patch panels, wall mounts, surface‑mount boxes, and wireless AP mounts (98 total, 94 installed).
• Perform 100 % permanent‑link testing, deliver certification files, and supply complete as‑built drawings.
• Must hold California C‑7 and/or C‑10 licenses, comply with prevailing‑wage rules, provide 10 % bid security, and meet a 3 % DVBE participation goal.
