2026 10 RFP Roof N. Wastewater Treatment Facility (W side)

The City of Dodge City is seeking a qualified roofing contractor to replace the damaged west‑section roof of its North Wastewater Treatment Facility. The scope includes complete removal of the existing roof system (including decking, coping, scuppers, and downspouts), disposal of all waste, installation of a minimum 3‑inch insulation board, placement of a fully adhered 60‑mil TPO roofing membrane, and replacement of all removed decking, coping, and downspouts. The contractor must attend a pre‑construction meeting with the city, provide a 20‑year material warranty with a 90 MPH wind rating, and adjust the bid if existing insulation can be reused. • Remove and dispose of all damaged roofing components. • Supply and install 3” insulation board over decking. • Install 60 mil fully‑adhered TPO roofing system. • Replace decking, coping, scuppers, downspouts, etc. • Conduct one pre‑construction meeting with city officials. • Offer 20‑year material warranty (≥90 MPH wind rating, unlimited liability). • Adjust bid if existing insulation is reusable.
