Description
The Town of Chevy Chase is seeking a qualified landscaping contractor to provide turf and plant maintenance and tree planting services. The contract will be for a period of one year, with an option for four one-year renewals. The contractor will be responsible for performing landscape maintenance services, including mowing, trimming, edging, aeration, and over-seeding, as well as tree planting and maintenance. The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials to perform the services.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing professional landscape services to maintain well-manicured, neat, and attractive landscapes
• Performing landscape maintenance services, including mowing, trimming, edging, aeration, and over-seeding
• Planting and maintaining trees, including removing old stumps, digging holes, and backfilling with existing soil
• Providing equipment and personnel to load, transport, and unload trees to planting locations
• Disposing of all resulting sod, dirt, or debris outside of the Town's corporate limits
• Maintaining a neat and workmanlike manner, with trained and experienced personnel
