Construction crews for installation and maintenance of Outdoor Lighting and associated equipment.

The City of Lakeland is seeking a qualified construction contractor to provide construction personnel and equipment for the installation, replacement, and maintenance of Lakeland Electric's lighting and associated systems. The contract will be for an initial period of three years with two two-year renewals upon mutual agreement. The contractor will be responsible for providing labor, equipment, tools, and transportation for the construction of LE's lighting system, including installation, removal, replacement, and maintenance of utility-grade lights. The contractor must also provide qualified and competent personnel to perform connections to energized equipment rated up to 600V. Some key points to consider: • The City is interested in having 2 vendors on contract for this proposal • The contractor will be responsible for coordinating with LE's Central Stores to pick up materials and return materials • The contractor will be responsible for the repair of all streets, sidewalks, and landscaped areas that were unnecessarily disturbed during construction activities • The contractor will be responsible for Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) • The contractor will guarantee support of current personnel for storm restoration purposes on a twenty-four-hour notice
