Description
The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to retrofit a 2021 International MV607 truck with a NACE attenuator. The retrofit will take place at Greenbelt Park, and final acceptance will occur at the same location. The contractor will be responsible for identifying any pre-existing chassis damage or deficiencies and notifying the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) in writing. The Government intends to conduct a joint pre-retrofit inspection of the vehicle at the time of pickup to document existing conditions.
• The contractor must qualify as a small business under NAICS 811114.
• The contractor must identify any labor classifications applicable to the effort.
• The contractor must notify the COR of any pre-existing chassis damage or deficiencies.
• The contractor must provide photographs, inspection findings, and a written description of any conditions that materially affect the retrofit.
