The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to fully demolish a dangerous residential (and potentially commercial) structure at 1616 West Crawford Street, remove all associated debris, cap nearby utilities, back‑fill and grade the site, and provide all required permits, safety measures, and final clean‑up. The contract is a lump‑sum, single‑price award with a 90‑day completion window and liquidated damages for delays.
• Complete demolition of all buildings, foundations, slabs, cisterns, septic tanks, garages, sheds, sidewalks, driveways, and related improvements.
• Remove debris to the City landfill (max 8 loads/day) and handle all utility disconnections and sewer caps within 5 ft of property lines.
• Back‑fill and compact the excavated area to ≥ 95 % maximum density, provide site protection (barricades, signage, lighting) and deliver a rough‑graded surface ready for drainage.
• Provide required permits, bonds, insurance, and a 5 % bid security; retainage of 10 % held until final acceptance; warranty period of 2 years after final completion.
