FY28 - DQ - Laundry Services - GMYC

The State of Colorado’s Division of Youth Services is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive laundry services for the Grand Mesa Youth Services (GMYC) facility. The contractor will be responsible for the full cycle of linen handling—including delivery of clean linen, collection of soiled items, inventory management, and invoicing—while adhering to strict state policies on security, background checks, and financial compliance. The contract includes provisions for price adjustments after the initial term, mandatory monthly (or twice‑monthly) billing, and annual financial audits for contracts exceeding $400,000 in state funds. Subcontracting is permitted but must be documented and subject to state inspection. • Deliver clean linen and other items on a schedule agreed upon with the State. • Collect and transport soiled linen using separate carts; no cross‑contamination allowed. • Maintain inventory, provide receipts, and manage special or expedited orders (within 4 hours). • Follow all DYS security, background‑check, and employee‑relationship policies. • Submit monthly (or twice‑monthly) invoices in the approved format with supporting documentation. • Comply with GAAP, maintain a double‑entry accounting system, and provide annual audited financial statements if state funding ≥ $400 k. • Allow state inspection of subcontractor agreements and financial records at any time.
