Description
The U.S. Army Installation and Management Command is conducting market research to identify qualified small‑business vendors capable of providing certified kitchen exhaust hood cleaning (quarterly) and dryer‑vent cleaning (semi‑annual) services at Joint Base Myer‑Henderson Hall, Fort Myer, Henderson Hall, and Fort McNair. The effort will be structured as a firm‑fixed‑price contract with a 7‑month base period starting September 2026 and up to five option years, totaling potentially five years of service. Vendors must hold appropriate certifications (IKECA, C‑DET/ASCS), comply with NFPA 96 and NFPA 54 standards, pass NCIC‑III background checks, and be able to operate primarily during off‑hours (1600‑0400). The contract will be set‑aside for small businesses if at least two qualified firms respond.
• Quarterly cleaning of commercial kitchen exhaust systems per NFPA 96, including hoods, filters, ducts, and fans.
• Semi‑annual cleaning of laundry dryer‑vent systems per NFPA 54, including lint removal and airflow verification.
