Description
The Missouri Schools for the Severely Disabled (MSSD) is seeking bids for orientation and mobility services. The contractor will provide nationally certified orientation and mobility specialists to deliver consultation and direct therapy services to MSSD students in accordance with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP). The services will be provided at assigned MSSD schools, and the contractor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of the requirements. The contract period is from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027.
• The contractor must provide a nationally certified orientation and mobility specialist.
• The contractor must ensure that all therapists have the necessary qualifications and experience.
• The contractor must provide services at the assigned MSSD school.
• The contractor must coordinate and supervise all aspects of the requirements.
• The contractor must provide schedules to MSSD teachers for all therapists.
• The contractor must review student records and become knowledgeable about the physical condition of each student.
