Removal of Inoperative Vehicles and Conveyances for Neighborhood Enhancement Division

The City of Tampa is seeking a contractor to provide removal services for inoperative vehicles, boats, trailers, and other conveyances. The contractor will be required to respond to calls for towing services at any hour of the day or night and must have sufficient qualified tow truck operators and equipment to perform the services. The contractor will also be responsible for handling, storage, and final disposition of unclaimed property in compliance with applicable laws. The contract will be for a one-year period with the option for two additional one-year renewals. • The contractor must have a minimum of three years of experience in the State of Florida providing satisfactory services in the towing of similar type vehicles. • The contractor must have adequate equipment and personnel to perform the services. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to public records and lobbying. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonding. • The contractor must have a valid business license and be registered to do business in the State of Florida.
