Description
The County of Jefferson, Missouri is soliciting bids for the purchase of Large Stone Products for use in the maintenance of roads and bridges. The contract will be for a period of 12 months with two optional 12-month renewal periods. Bidders must provide a price sheet with discounts from the general public price sheet and an add-on price for hauling to locations specified by the County. The County reserves the right to purchase Large Stone Products at any supplier when it is in its best interest due to pricing or when requirements exceed these guidelines.
• The contract requires the supplier to provide sound, durable, and free from cracks and other structural defects stone or crushed limestone.
• The supplier must enroll and participate in the E-Verify federal work authorization program.
• The supplier must provide documentation affirming said company’s/individual’s enrollment and participation in the E-Verify federal work authorization program.
• The County may terminate the contract if the supplier fails to deliver the items required by the contract within the time specified or if the supplier fails to perform any of the other provisions of the contract.
