Janitorial Contract BID DOCS FY26-28

The Town of Colchester is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for eight town buildings. The contract will be for a period of three years, and the contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary to complete the specified janitorial services. The services will include tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning restrooms, as well as providing cleaning products and supplies. The contractor will be required to commence services on the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed and to perform the services in accordance with the contract documents. • The contractor will be responsible for providing janitorial services for the following buildings: Town Office, Police Department, Bayside Activity Center, Colchester Meeting House, Burnham Memorial Library, Rescue, Town Garage, and Airport Park Maintenance Facility. • The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment and supplies to complete the tasks. • The contractor will be responsible for taking out and maintaining Comprehensive General Bodily Injury Liability and Property Damage Liability Insurance during the life of the contract. • The contractor will be required to execute the Agreement and provide all Agreement Forms and Documents within ten business days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. • The contractor will be paid in accordance with the contract documents, and the payment will be made monthly for the services performed.
